Baths (the handy-work of one man: Will Wiesenfeld) blur the boundaries of so many genres that you begin to wonder whether these said genres actually exist at all. Perhaps they were made up by journalists looking to categorise music that didn’t fit into any existing preconceptions. Well, it makes it handy when you’re browsing in the record shops anyway. File Baths beautifully glitchy album ‘Cerulean’ (eight out of ten from Bowelgs) under ‘chillwave’, ‘glo-fi’ or none of the above.
